Newsletter December 2024

by | Dec 10, 2024 | News, FMEA, MSA, SPC

In this newsletter, you can read about the future of SPC software and our Qualis 4.0 SPC solution. We announce new features in our MSA Gage Management software, where we can now convert from other (database) systems automatically and in our FMEA software, where we offer a great feature comparing different revisions of an FMEA. We also share a blog about Artificial Intelligence decision trees in Real-Time SPC and a blog about DNOM charts as a real-time solutions for short-run SPC. We hope you enjoy our newsletter. Please feel free to reach out to us with any thoughts or suggestions. We’d love to hear from you.

At DataLyzer, we recognize the transformative potential of Machine Learning (ML) in manufacturing processes. By integrating advanced algorithms into our Statistical Process Control (SPC) software, we’re not just improving data analysis; we’re enabling real-time predictive insights that empower process experts to make informed decisions.

What’s new: Compare different FMEA revisions

In the FMEA manuals there has been a lot of emphasis on building robust FMEAs in the last couple of years. This is because FMEAs are documents that not made and then left alone, they are living documents, being upgraded and changing throughout the years.

As lessons learned are be implemented, processes will be improved, new failures may come to light and at some point the FMEA will not look like the first version anymore. To see the differences between two versions of an FMEA (or CP) we have implemented a tool so you can easily see the changes made over time. On the left side of the image we see the latest Draft version, and on the right side we see the 1st revision. The yellow lines indicate a change has been made in that row, the red text indicates the actual changes in text. With extra filter options you can clearly track changes over time.
